The Role:
- Location: Fredericksburg, VA
- Assignment duration: 2/1/2027 - 7/19/2027
- Number of Positions: 2
- Shift Type: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00). Must be flexible with 8s, 10s, and 12s; mostly day coverage with occasional nights. Availability to work one weekend per month. Schedule is determined 8 weeks out.
- In House Call: Beeper nightly or weekend call coverage allowed; 1 call shift per 8-week schedule (either 7p-7a or weekend call 7a-7p)
- Cases: All cases except transplants — hearts, lung/thoracic, healthy pediatric dental/ENT, OB, ortho, GI, ENT, vascular, EP. CRNAs perform epidurals and spinals; no blocks guaranteed. OB and thoracic experience required; pediatric experience preferred. Level 2 trauma experience required. Providers may float between main OR, satellite hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers.
- OT: Paid after scheduled shift (not after 40 hours)
- Are MDs supervising CRNAs: 4:1 supervision
- What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 4:1
- Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: Must have VA license at time of submittal, or be in the process of issuing
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required
