The Role:
- Location: Kearney, NE
- Assignment duration: 91
- Shift Type: Varied
- Schedule/Availability: 2 weeks per month starting in January and ongoing
- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday (on days not covering inpatient service)
- Inpatient rounds: Monday-Friday average census 8-10; Saturday-Sunday average census 6-7. APP and Hospitalist assistance available.
- Procedures: Perform add-on cath procedures, mainly inpatients (average 8-9/week).
- Call responsibilities: STEMI call; providers take night call and 24-hour call as scheduled.
- On-call ratio: 1:3
- Cases: Caths - 686 total (57/month); EKGs - 4,797 (400/mo); Echos - 2,895 (241/mo); Holters - 445 (37/mo); Peripheral Vascular - 418 (35/mo); NM - 379 (32/mo); Cardioversions - 45-50 (4/mo)
- Site Charting System: Epic
- Facility size: 175 beds
- Must be able to read ECHOs
- Preferred lodging: Candlewood Suites
- Submission requirements: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology required; Nebraska license or active IMLC highly preferred; case logs and CV with work history (hospital name and month/year) required at time of presentation.
