The Role:
- Assignment duration: 6 months.
- Shift Type: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00). Schedule may vary week-to-week between 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts; coverage also includes 24-hour + 16-hour shifts per week. Full-time locums only.
- Call Required. Boise: 2 weeknights per month and 1 weekend per month. Nampa: Call 1x per week (weekday or weekend).
- Cases: Gyn, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, thoracic/lungs, healthy pediatrics, eye, GI, structural heart, EP, endoscopy, interventional radiology, MRI. Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases. No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB at the primary campus.
- OT: After 40 hours at Boise; after 50 hours at Nampa.
- Site Charting System: Epic.
- Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 17 MOR, 7 DSC, plus specials, cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology.
- Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes — supervision-based anesthesia model at the primary campus.
- What is the CRNA to MD ratio: Max 4:1.
- Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: Open to licensing.
- Credentialing Timeframe: about 30-45 days if licensed; up to 90-120 days if pending license.
