The Role:
- Location: Potsdam, NY 13676
- Assignment duration: 12/7/2026 - 6/7/2027
- Shift Type: Night 7x24-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- In House Call: 24h Call Coverage - Office and Procedure Expectations M-F during 24h Call. Office and Procedure days will vary depending on availability, typically there is a max of 2 procedure days per week. Office hours are 8am-4pm; Procedure hours are 7:30-3:30. Full availability (Mon-Sun) expected; full weeks preferred or as many in a row as possible. 24hr Rate (M-F to include 8 hours of patient contact): flat rate; anything over 8 hours is callback. Weekends (24 hr call): flat rate with 4 hours gratis. Callback requires the provider to be called back into the hospital. 8 hours of patient contact entails procedures and in-person consults. Do not round if not asked to.
- Cases: Upper and lower endoscopy experience including EGD and colonoscopy; PEG tube placement and esophageal dilation. ERCP/EUS are referred out.
- OT: 1.25x the regular rate for overtime & holidays
- Site Charting System: Epic
- Required: Board Certified; NY State license in hand; AHA BLS and ACLS; Minimum of 2 years experience within the last two years; Epic experience required
