The Role:
- Assignment duration: 3 months.
- Shift Type: Day 5x10-hour (07:00 - 17:00). Regular Hours: Required.
- In House Call: Onsite and on call. Monday-Thursday 5p-7a; Weekend call Friday 5p-Monday 7a. 24-hour weekend and night call coverage included.
- Cases: Open heart, cardiac, vascular, and liver cases.
- Site Charting System: Epic.
- Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes — 100% medical direction of CRNAs, AAs, and residents.
- Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: May consider IMLC if already in process; highly prefer active MO license.
- Board Certification: Required.
- DEA: Required.
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS.
- Minimum Experience Required: Cardiac fellowship OR extensive cardiac experience (5+ years) if no fellowship.
- Department: Level 1 trauma center; comfortable with complex cardiac and aortic surgery and TEE interpretation.
- Hospital Bed Size: ~650 beds.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
