The Role:
- Location: Newport News, VA
- Assignment duration: 359
- Shift Type: 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts. Regular Hours: Mon-Fri. 40 hr guarantee.
- In House Call: In House (7a to 7p). Weekend call coverage required (Saturday and Sunday). Call windows include 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a.
- Cases: Level II trauma center; OB is a plus.
- OT: Occasional OT; weekend shifts available.
- Site Charting System: ICARE/EPIC EMR (onsite EMR training)
- Number of Anesthesia Rooms: OB (2 ORs); Main OR (15); CVIR/Specials (2); MRI/CT (1); Endo (3); Bronch (1)
- Are MDs supervising CRNAs: 1:3. No supervisory roles for CRNAs.
- What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 1:3
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-day minimum credentialing
