The Role:
- Location: Jackson, MI
- Assignment duration: Start ASAP and work ongoing
- Certification: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Board Certified required
- State License: Active Michigan license required
- Shift Type: 8-10 hours. Provider must be able to work 32-40 hrs/week (8s or 10s).
- Schedule Requirement: Must be available to work either Monday or Friday every week.
- In-House Call: No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts).
- Cases: General surgical cases with opportunities for neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia; care spans pediatric through geriatric patients.
- Overtime: Not expected but may be offered.
- Site Charting System: Epic
- Setting: Hospital-based (Level II Trauma Center)
- Typical Volume: Approximately 50 surgical cases per day across multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments
- Clinical Expectations: Provide anesthesia under supervision of anesthesiologists, maintain continuous perioperative monitoring, manage ventilation and airway including intubation when needed, perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia as appropriate
- Credentialing: Estimated 90-120 days
Submission requirements:
- Board Certified CRNA - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan license - REQUIRED
- Clean background - REQUIRED
- ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS - REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year CRNA experience - REQUIRED
- No employment gaps - REQUIRED
- Provider must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours and have either Monday or Friday availability every week - REQUIRED
