The Role:
• Location: Bay City, MI
• Assignment duration: Sporadic Coverage Dates Needed
• # of Positions: 1
• Specialty: Gastroenterology
• Shift Type: Varied schedule. Monday 7am - Friday 7pm call. No weekend call.
• Typical Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-7am (24-hr coverage); Friday 7am-7pm (12-hr coverage)
• On Call: Monday-Thursday nights; Friday 7am-7pm (day coverage) • ERCP: Required
• Hospitalist support available
• GI clinic location: less than half a mile from the hospital
• Credentialing: 90 days
• Willing to accept candidates who need to obtain state license: Yes
• Michigan medical license required. IMLC may be accepted when dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ for IMLC.
• Board certified — required (willing to review)
• Active DEA registration — required at time of start
• ERCP competency — required
• NPDB self-query (copy) — must be pulled within 30 days of presentation
