The Role:
- Location: Greensboro, NC (zip 27401)
- Assignment duration: 08/17/2026 - 02/15/2027 (approximately 6 months)
- Number of positions: 1
- Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Shift Type: Day, 5x8-hour shifts (typical schedule 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Will consider full-time and part-time providers. Part-time options: 2 weeks per month or 2 shifts per week.
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Licensure: North Carolina state license required (willing to sponsor Compact license)
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years required (no new graduates)
- Certifications required: ACLS & PALS
- Float: Providers must be able to float; one main location will be the primary site for coverage
- Cases: General, ortho, gyn, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, neuro, trauma; multiple NORA locations (IR, EP, Endo, MRI). Cardiac/cardiothoracic cases are not required.
- ORs / Locations: ~20 ORs and ~5 NORA locations
- Patients per day: 60+ cases per day
- Patient population: All ages (peds through adult)
- EMR / Charting: Epic
- Equipment: Drager anesthesia machines; Philips monitoring
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
- Overtime (OT): 1.5x normal rate after shift worked; OT hours are not guaranteed and scheduled OT shifts may be canceled (pay only for hours worked)
- Holiday pay: 1.5x normal rate for major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
- Additional notes: Medical direction is provided on site. Coverage need roughly 4-5 shifts per month for the assignment.
