Locum CRNA needed to start ASAP and work a 3 month assignment with option to extend at a facility near Pantops, VA. VA license required.
- Shift Details: Requires weekly availability – prefer not to rotate weeks on/weeks off.
- Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week – 3 12s and would like Saturdays and Sundays too if they can work weekends.
- NO LOCALS, Must live 50 miles from the facility.
- ACLS & BLS Certifications MUST BE VALID and COMPLETED THROUGH THE AHA.
- Must have COVID & Flu Vaccine.
- Patient population/age: 13 – end of life.
- Department Description: Level 1 trauma center. We have 60 CRNAs, along with about 70 Attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents.
- The anesthesia team covers 33 OR in the main OR, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 stand-alone GI center rooms.
- Skills required: All CRNA scopes of practice.
- Cases the clinician will not be doing include: open heart/thoracic, peds, obstetrics, and performing peripheral nerve blocks.
- Minimum experience required: 2 years minimum experience required, preferably academic background and level 1 or 2 trauma experience.
- Will consider outpatient-only candidates but would prefer someone with recent experience in inpatient settings.
- Require one year of Academic Medical Center or Level 1 trauma center experience required. But otherwise prefer to have experience working regularly with ASA 3+ patients.
- Board Certification: Required.
- Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS.
- License required: Virginia.
- EMR: Epic.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 30 days.
