Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Pineland Park, FL,
- Shift Times – 7am-5pm for dayshift and 5pm-7am for CV beeper call.
- FL license and DEA required.
- Emergency privs available with clean file (30 days).
- Weekdays and weekends:Both as needed.
- Call shifts, in-house and beeper? weekdays and weekends: Beeper call for all days.
- Average daily cases: CV = 3 or 4.
- Is there CRNA support on call shifts:Not for CV call.
- Anesthetizing Sites: 12 ORs/9 NORA.
- Number of Surgical Cases per Year: 9,000.
- Anesthesia Model: 9MD / 16 APP.
- MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon.
- Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient. This is a hands on practice.
- Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab. No OB, No Transplant.
- Cardiac Case Load: With TAVRs, mitral clips, CABG, etc, 10-12/week. 40-50/month. EP, watchman = 80/month.
- Trauma Call: In-house call shift starts at 3pm and runs to 7am. MDs will have a CRNA for the general OR/Trauma/IR cases. The post call day is off if you wish, some prefer to work.
- EMR: Medaxion (for anesthesia charting) Meditech for orders. Meditech for reviewing patient records.
- $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
- $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In.
