The Role:
- Location: Cape Girardeau, MO
- Assignment duration: ASAP - 7/1/2027
- Shift Type: Ideally 7-24 hour consecutive call shifts (shift start 6AM beginning day of call rotation; shift end 6AM at end of call rotation)
- Call Details: Call ratio approximately 1:2 with midwife backup as scheduled; primarily solo coverage, with midwife-primary option on extended contracts where locum provides backup
- Cases: OB-GYN emergency consults; approximately 600 deliveries annually; patient encounters per shift: 6.7; includes routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections and multiple births
- Support Staff: 24/7 CRNA, RT 24/7, 1st Assist Surgical, RN (minimum 2 L&D), 2 NICU, 1 OB Tech
- Requirements: Active MO License or IMLC, Board Certified, ACLS, ATLS, BLS
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
