The Role:
- Location: Hickory, NC (28601)
- Assignment duration: 8/2/2026 - Ongoing; August 14 0700 through October 5 0700; August 27 0700 through August 31 0700
- Shift Type: 24 hour call only, 7a-7a. No clinic.
- In House Call: 24 hour call only, 7a-7a
- Cases: Obstetrics and Gynecology — routine and complicated deliveries, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs; operative and major gynecologic procedures; laparoscopic and open surgical gynecology
- OT: Overtime may be submitted; physicians must document overtime and call-back hours per timesheet requirements
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 3
- Call-back & timesheet documentation: Physicians are required to document patient contact hours (call-back hours) and provide supporting notes on timesheet entries to verify call-back and overtime occurrences; telephone calls and medical record reviews are not considered on-site call-back; physician is not required to be on-site while providing call support
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
