The Role:
- Location: Christiansburg, VA 24073
- Assignment duration: 6 months
- Schedule/Hours: 4-8 24-hour in-house call shifts per month; will allow 2 consecutive 24-hour in-house call shifts
- Cases: OB/GYN core with minor GYN surgical; averages 70-75 deliveries and 20-25 non-obstetrical surgeries per month; expected to manage residents; covers unassigned OB GYN hospital call
- Site Charting System: Epic
- Hospital bed size: 146-bed acute-care medical center with Level II Nursery
- Support staff: 5 Board-Certified OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and a Certified Nurse Midwife
- Skills required: OB/GYN core with minor GYN surgical
- Board Certification: BC American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- License required: VA
- DEA: Required
- Certifications preferred: EFM, NRP, PALS
- Minimum experience required: 2-3 years (Client prefers 5+ years)
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
