The Role:
- Location: Norfolk, VA
- Assignment duration: Ongoing
- Active Virginia license is required.
- Shift Type: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 19:00). Regular Hours: Required.
- Cases: CRNAs administer their own anesthetic medications; epidurals, spinals, arterial lines; some obstetric anesthesia; trauma and outpatient surgery; large vascular, neurosurgery, high-risk OB/GYN, orthopedics, general surgery, thoracic surgery. No brachial plexus or other regional blocks.
- OT: Not expected but offered.
- Site Charting System: Cerner.
- Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes — 1:4 medically directed care team model.
- What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 1:4
- Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: No — Active Virginia license required at time of submission.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days (Emergency credentialing available in approximately 30-45 days)
