The Role:
- Location: Marquette, MI 49855
- Assignment duration: Sporadic Coverage Needed
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Shift Type: Per diem scheduling; includes 24-hour beeper call coverage
- Cases: Obstetrics and Gynecology — deliveries, C-sections, operative obstetrics, gynecologic procedures, and office gynecology
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 4.3 patients/day
- Average Call #'s per 24hrs: 8
- Average deliveries per Year: 450, OB delivers 370-380 a year.
- 15 Beds in Department
- Arrival within 30 minutes of initial contact to ED or OB unit when required for emergency conditions, or if change is noted from standard course of labor as noted by nurse. Must be seen by attending at any time the condition warrants and within 12 hours by attending after admission to L&D
- Call response time required? Respond to ED and L&D within 10 minutes
- Support Staff: 6-8 RNs/Day
- EMR: Cerner & Athena
- Requirements: Board Certified, Active MI License
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
