The Role:
- Location: Mechanicsville, VA
- Shift Type: Days. Staffed Onsite (Weekdays): Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. On-Call (Weekday Evenings): Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM. On-Call (Weekends): Saturday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM.
- In House Call: Yes
- Cases: Potential for some rounding responsibility. Call volume is low for STEMIs (159 activations in 2025 with a 47% cancellation rate). Providers will receive more phone calls while on-call rather than frequent emergent callbacks; STEMI call is aligned with unassigned call and noninvasive coverage.
- Site Charting System: Epic.
- Procedures Required: Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, Medical Management of Vascular Disease, Coronary Angiograms, Embolic Protection, Carotid Artery Stenting, Atherectomy
