The Role:
- Location: Chattanooga, TN
- Assignment duration: ASAP start; coverage expected starting Sept - Jan 2027. Duration: 91 days.
- Shift Type: Mon-Fri (8a-4p) + weeknight call (4p-8a); weekend/holiday call as required.
- In House Call: Yes - 24 hour call (8a-8a); weeknight call (4p-8a).
- Cases: Interventional radiology services and procedures including but not limited to angiography/arteriography, catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic arterial and venous procedures (angioplasty, stenting, embolization, chemoembolization, thrombectomy, thrombolytic therapy), image-guided biopsy, drainage, nephrostomy, ureteral stenting, biliary interventions, gastrostomy/gastrojejunostomy, tumor ablation, central venous and dialysis access, TIPS, uterine artery embolization, vertebral augmentation, ultrasound-guided thoracentesis and paracentesis, fluoroscopic-guided lumbar puncture, and other interventional procedures as described in the position duties. Diagnostic reading is not required; support staff available. PACS/Dictation: Merge, Powerscribe 360, Dragon.
- OnCall: Yes, 24 hour call (8a-8a)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
- State Licenses: Tennessee
- Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible; TN License or IMLC; BLS and ACLS required for moderate sedation use. Must be available to start in September and provide ongoing coverage through end of year.
- Credentialing: Timeframe: Emergency/Temp PrivsRequirements: TN License and DEACredentialing with other facilities? NoBilling enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less?Coverage requirement could be for longer than 60 days.
