The Role:
• Location: Dayton, OH (Zip 45404-1815)
• Assignment duration: August 10th - November 16th, 2026 (approx. 91 days)
• Physician License: Ohio license highly preferred; candidate should be able to obtain state licensure as required.
• Shift Type: Days 0700-1530, Monday through Friday
• In House Call: N/A
• Cases: Neonatal through adult — general surgical, thoracic (except open heart), complex orthopedic, neurosurgical; provides pediatric anesthesia services for most subspecialties (excludes cardiac and transplant surgery).
• OT: Not expected but may be offered
• Site Charting System: Not specified
• Number of Operating Rooms / Anesthesia Rooms: 14 ORs
• Will the physician supervise CRNAs: Yes — mix of solo practice and supervising CRNAs in a care-team model
• CRNA to MD ratio: Not specified
• Are MDs doing their own cases: Mix of independent coverage and supervision
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days (facility requirements must be submitted at time of name clear)
• Weekend Call: TBD
Submission requirements (must be provided at time of name clear to avoid redirection):
• Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology [REQUIRED]
• Completed Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship [REQUIRED]
• BLS, ACLS, PALS [REQUIRED]
• CAQH login (username + password) and standard credentialing documentation (DOB, SSN, license, DEA, CSR, life certifications, maiden name where applicable)
• Self-query NPDB (pulled within 30 days of submission) [REQUIRED]
• Additional facility requirements: fingerprinting immediately after acceptance; mileage, rental car, hotel, and flights may be reimbursed per facility travel policy

A leading pediatric-focused hospital and ACS Level I Trauma Center offering a full range of healthcare services. The practice includes a collegial OR team (RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, and APPs), 22 anesthesiologists in practice, 14 operating rooms, and a high-volume emergency department (approximately 70,000 annual visits).
