- Modalities: X-Ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine
- Subspecialty/case mix: ER, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, pediatrics, mammography diagnostic procedures, light interventional radiology
- Typical procedures:
- Biopsies: thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal, CT-guided, US-guided
- Drainages: paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tubes, cyst drainage
- Lumbar punctures: diagnostic lumbar puncture, myelogram, epidural procedures
- Arthrograms / joint injections: knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder
- Daily volume expectations (per 8-hour shift): total studies 90-100; wRVUs 60-70
- Credentialing timeline: 90 days
- Submission requirements:
- Board Certification — REQUIRED
- Active PA license — REQUIRED
- DEA registration — REQUIRED
- Self-query NPDB report (pulled within 30 days at time of presentation) — REQUIRED
