The Role:
• Location: Detroit, MI 48201
• Assignment duration: 9/1/2026 - 12/31/2026 (121 days)
• Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology / Nuclear Medicine (Radiology - Diagnostic)
• Type: Travel
• Number of Positions: 2
• Shift: ED 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST — REMOTE
• Coverage needed: 2-3 weeks per month; will consider candidates able to cover 1 week per month. Target: at least 7 shifts per month.
• Resident teaching required — 2-3 residents overnight with one radiologist on site.
• Case logs required — please submit with bid.
• NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days required at time of bid.
• Clean malpractice required.
• Average number of ED mixed cases per 8-hour shift: 80-130.
• DEA: position does not require a DEA, but a DEA waiver will be required.
• BLS: Not required if working remotely (BLS indicated as required in system but BLS not required for remote shifts per facility notes).
• PACS: Sectra; EMR: Cerner; Dictation: PowerScribe.
• Workstation will be provided.
• Board certification: Required (facility requires physicians to be board certified).
• Fellowship: 1 (as listed)
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days.
