The Role:

- Assignment duration: 6/23/2026 - 9/22/2026 (91 days)
- Type: Travel
- Number of positions: 1
- Certification required: Physician (Board Certified required)
- Specialty/Unit: Cardiac Anesthesia / Cardiac
- Shift Type: Days, Weekdays Monday thru Friday with weekend shift rotation
- Typical Shift Times: 7a-3p, 7a-5p, 7a-7p (aligned with leaving order)
- Schedule model: 2 weeks on (14 days) / 1 week off (7 days) cardiac schedule
- Call Required: Yes (clinical call expectations apply)
- Weekend Required: Yes
- Minimum number of shifts per month: 20
- Cases: General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, GI, Cath Lab, Central Lines (CVL), Endocrine, ENT, Spines, with cardiac cases including CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, MitraClip, LAA ligation, and EPEMR; minimal thoracic volume; very little aortic surgery; no cardiac transplant
- Clinical model: MDs perform approximately 70% of their own cases and supervise the remainder (approx. 30%)
- Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
- Licensure: Active Florida license highly preferred. Candidates applying for FL compact license will be considered, but proof of application must be submitted once approved for credentialing. Provider files cannot be sent to the MSO office until license/DEA are received.
- Background: OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES ONLY. MUST HAVE 100% CLEAN BACKGROUND (no clinical, legal, or pending cases)
- Case logs: Must provide 24 months of case logs within 5 days of being approved for credentialing
- Travel expenses: Covered following the agency travel expense policy
- Providers who worked at this site or an affiliated site in the past 24 months are not eligible
- Interview: A call/Zoom interview with site clinical leadership (Medical Director) is required. Presentation must include clinician contact phone number and best time to contact over the next two weeks to avoid delays.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, Board Certification
Submission requirements:
- Availability — earliest possible start date
- How many shifts per month they can work
- What month their schedule is completely open
- Any shift preferences (Day, Night, Blocks, etc.)
- Any dates in the next 3-6 months they cannot work
- Any holidays in the next 3-6 months they are available to work
- If the provider does not match all job requirements, obtain permission from the MSP Coordinator before submitting a Name Clear
- An agency credentialing agreement (ICA) must be used for any provider approved for credentialing (latest version in Trio)
