The Role:
- Location: Richland, WA 99352
- Assignment duration: ASAP - Ongoing
- Start: ASAP
- Openings: Looking for 2 additional providers for long-term coverage
- Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology (Physician MD/DO)
- Shift Type: In-house 24-hour call shifts
- Shifts per month: Ability to cover several (5-8) in-house 24-hour call shifts per month
- Guaranteed Hours per shift: 24 (in-house call is paid hourly)
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: ~25
- Cases: High-acuity and emergent OB/GYN cases including hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopy, IUD insertion, abscess management, post-hysterectomy complications, exploratory laparotomy, etc.
- Support: Five midwives in the group help support MD providers on L&D
- Overtime (OT): Not expected unless provider must remain beyond the 24-hour shift
- Board Certification: Required
- Required certifications: BLS (required). ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, other — not required
- Trauma level: 2
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
