Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed in TX
- 90 days to credential, needed for up to 1 year.
- ABEM Only with minimum of 2 years of experience.
- What are the shift times? 6a – 6p, 6p – 6a.
- Is call involved? No.
- What procedures are required? Intubations, central line placement, Ultrasound utilization, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tube placement, trauma management, laceration repair, stemi, strokes.
- What is the average patient census? 80 per day.
- What are the most common cases the locum will see? All Variety of Emergency Medicine Cases, some high acuity.
- Annual ER admissions? 20%
- How many EM physicians are typically on staff per shift? 1 EM per shift and 24 hour APP coverage.
- Must have TX license (or in process) and DEA dedicated to locums work.
- Client provides Travel & Lodging.
- $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
