Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Central El Paso, TX. TX license preferred.
- M-F coverage, 10 hr is acceptable.
- Call Type: In-House.
- Practice Settings: Inpatient.
- We are looking for a general anesthesiologist (not pediatric) who is comfortable with regional anesthesia.
- No cardiac cases, no requirement to do Peds, premies or neonates.
- Peds experience is a plus but not required.
- Most cases will be MD supervising CRNAs, occasionally solo work.
- Types of surgery will be expected to be performed at this facility: Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine
- Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic.
- Preferred Specialty Skills: General Anesthesia, Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Trauma, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia
- Regional Anesthesia Surgery, Obstetrical Cases, Neurosurgical cases, Head, Spine, Open Heart Anesthesia
- Thoracic cases (except open heart), Complex vascular cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Pain management techniques, Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks, Epidural steroid for Lumbar, Epidural steroid for Cervical, Transforaminal, Lumbar, Cervical, Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, PA Catheter placement, CRNA supervision.
- Number of Operation Rooms: 5.
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Licensed in TX only.
- No local candidates.
- EMR: Cerner.
- Credentialing: 90 days.
- $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
