Locum OBGYN needed near Saxman, AK.
- Coverage Needed: 0.25 FTE (need no more than a week a month to complement employed relief coverage)
- Expected duration of assignment: 6 months
- Schedule: 8 hours in clinic (8a-5p) and 24-hour call shifts (Call is 2-3 day stretches with a day in clinic in between)
- Call requirement: approx. 7 days of 1st or 2nd call. 24 hour call for labor and delivery/ED
- Type of privileges (clinic/hospital/both): Both
- Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
- # of beds: 25 (5 labor and delivery)
- Rounding and admissions
- Patient demographics: Primarily adult, some peds/geriatric
- Average patients per day: 10 in clinic, 0-2 labor and delivery
- Required Procedures: Full scope, general OB GYN; No expectation for scheduled surgeries unless another hand or first assistant is needed.
- There is always a second OBGYN on call, 24/7 ED and hospitalist
- EMR: EPIC
- Must be OBGYN Boarded due to credentialing
- Requirements: Active AK License & DEA, BC OBGYN, BLS
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 Days - Site will submit for an expedited credentialing
- $2000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
