Locum Hospitalist needed for 7 on/7 off coverage near Sarasota, FL starting as soon as credentialed.
Target Start Date: Aug 1, 2026 ongoing for 3 months, with option to extend.
Schedule:
- Fulltime, 14-17 shifts per month
- 7on/7 off (Mon-Sun)
Certification Requirements:
- Must have active FL license and dedicated DEA for locums use.
- BC FM or IM w/ 1-2 years hospitalist experience.
Procedures: No
Volume: Ave14-20 patients per day
EMR: Meditech
Open or Closed ICU: Open. Intensivists run the ICU, but Hospitalists round in ICU.
Codes: Hospitalists and Residents respond to codes. Residents run the code with assistance from the Hospitalist, when needed.
Must be willing to work in associated FSEDs
T &L: Client provides lodging and mileage reimbursement.
- $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
