Locum Radiologist needed near Kansas City, MO.
- Coverage Type: On-Site. Looking for candidates who can do night shift and evenings, as well as daytime diagnostic coverage plus weekends. Call is evenings and weekends. Normal business hours are at a single location 0700-1700, and call covers both locations. Teleradiology for overnights, evenings, and weekends. For normal business hours, we would prefer one on site.
- Length of Assignment: Ongoing
- Support staff: 24% physician, 5% APP. Each site has radiology managers, techs, nurses
- Practice Setting: Hospital. There are dedicated IR suites, and they are up-to-date with current technology. Not high-volume trauma level.
- Procedures: someone able to read ER style stuff - more CT’s, more Neuro etc. Must know how to do arthrogram and fluoroscopies
- Modality breakdown: CT, MR, PET, US
- Patient population/age: Adults
- EMR: EPIC. The PACS system is Change/McKesson
- Board Requirements: Not required. Not BC- within 2 years of residence
- License: Willing to license. Would prefer that the physicians either have or can quickly obtain licensure in MO and KS - IMLC
- Certifications Required: n/a
- Privileging timeframe: 45-60 days. Temps available as well.
- $2000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
